This website is operated by C Finance, a division of L&J Advisory ABN 99 643 353 235 ("we", "us", "our"). By using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the site.

These terms cover the website only. If we go on to arrange finance for you, that relationship is governed by a separate written agreement between us, and by the credit contract between you and your lender. Nothing here varies those documents.

1. What this site is

This site describes a finance broking service for Australian businesses: we assess whether a clean-energy project is fundable, match it to lenders, and prepare and manage the application.

We arrange finance. We are not a lender, and we do not make credit decisions. Whether finance is approved, on what terms, and at what rate is decided by the lender, not by us.

2. Business finance only

We arrange finance for business purposes only and do not provide consumer credit. We do not hold an Australian Credit Licence and do not offer credit regulated by the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 (Cth). If you are seeking finance for personal, domestic or household purposes, we cannot assist you.

3. General information only

Everything on this site is general information. It does not take into account your objectives, financial situation or needs, and it is not financial product advice, credit advice, taxation advice, accounting advice or legal advice.

Tax treatment, grant and rebate settings, lender criteria and interest rates change frequently, and eligibility depends on circumstances we do not know. Before acting on anything you read here, confirm the current position with the relevant government body and take advice from your own accountant or adviser.

4. Calculators, estimates and examples

Any calculator, estimate, worked example or indicative figure on this site is a model, not a quote and not an offer of finance. Figures are produced from the assumptions shown alongside them and generally exclude fees, charges, GST timing and any grant or rebate. Your actual repayments, costs and savings will differ.

Energy savings figures are your own estimates or your installer's, not projections by us.

5. Accuracy

We take reasonable care to keep this site accurate and current, and we date the material that depends on government settings so you can see when it was last checked. Even so, we do not warrant that everything on the site is accurate, complete or up to date at the moment you read it.

6. Links to other sites

Where we link to government, regulator or lender websites, we do so to let you verify what we have written. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or availability, and a link is not an endorsement.

7. Using the site

You may read, print and share the material on this site for your own business purposes. You must not:

use the site for any unlawful purpose, or in breach of these terms;
submit false, misleading or fraudulent information through any form on this site;
submit another person's details without their knowledge and consent;
attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, the portal, or any underlying system or data; or
interfere with the operation of the site, including by automated or bulk submission.

We may restrict or withdraw access to the site or the portal where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.

8. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise indicated, the content, design and code of this site are owned by or licensed to L&J Advisory. Typefaces used on this site are licensed under the SIL Open Font Licence 1.1, and those notices travel with the font files.

Our name, logo and branding may not be used without our written permission. Quoting or citing this site with attribution and a link is welcome.

9. Availability

We do not guarantee that the site or the portal will be available uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site, including any tool or page, without notice.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to that, to the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site or its content, including indirect or consequential loss. Where our liability can be limited but not excluded, it is limited to resupplying the relevant information or the cost of doing so.

11. Privacy

How we handle personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

12. Commissions

We are paid a commission by the lender when a loan settles. There is no fee to you for the readiness check or for arranging finance. The commission payable on your transaction is disclosed to you in writing before you sign.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies from the date shown at the top of it. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
